The Excel Skills website
is a comprehensive and practical Microsoft Excel resource specializing
in online Excel training and the development of unique & innovative
Excel templates. The training section of the website covers all the core
functionality that is included in Microsoft Excel, while the templates
section includes a series of practical and innovative Excel templates
that you will not find anywhere else.
Our Excel training resources currently consist of more than 340 Excel
2010, more than 320 Excel 2007 and more than 260 Excel 2003 video tutorials
that are suitable for both novice and advanced Excel users. The unique
design of our tutorials ensures that the training content is provided
through a medium that is effective, practical and easy to use. Our tutorials
are provided in a categorized and course based format. This means that
not only can our training resources be utilized for course based training
from a novice to advanced Excel skill level but users can also easily
obtain guidance on specific Excel features while working in Excel.
Our unique, practical templates produce results that are more comparable
to software solutions than regular Excel templates. Most Excel templates
only contain limited functionality but our templates produce complex automated
reports based on limited user input. You also don't need advanced Excel
skills in order to use our templates - all our innovative templates only
require basic user input and include comprehensive step-by-step instructions. |

20 questions - click the Next button in the bottom right corner of the screen

button, otherwise your answer will not be added to your score. |
- Free Excel Tutorial Sample : Customize
Your Toolbar
One of the easiest ways of improving your Excel efficiency is to customize
your default Excel toolbar in order o include the toolbar buttons of all
the Excel features that you use frequently. The customization process only
takes a few minutes and you'll probably end up saving hours of your time
because the features that are included on the toolbar can be accessed by
simply clicking one button instead of having to navigate to the appropriate
menu or ribbon tab in order to select the appropriate feature. |

- Free Excel Tutorial Sample : Create
an Excel Chart
Excel Charts enable users to analyze data in a visual format. In most business
environments, an understanding of how to create, maintain and customize
charts is an essential Excel skill requirement. Our Excel 2010, Excel 2007
and Excel 2003 tutorials all include a Charts section where we show you
how to create a basic Excel chart, customize & format all chart elements
and we also cover advanced chart features like creating a chart from multiple
source data cell ranges and inserting a secondary vertical axis on an Excel
chart. |
- Free Excel Tutorial Sample : Create a
Pivot Table
If you have not used pivot tables before, you have been missing out on one
of the most useful Excel data analysis features. Pivot tables significantly
enhance your ability to group and analyze data - not only data that is included
in a normal cell range but also data that is imported from external data
sources. The Pivot Tables & Charts section of the Excel 2010, Excel
2007 and Excel 2003 tutorials includes guidance on editing the source data
of a pivot table, refreshing pivot tables, formatting pivot table data,
drilling down to the source data and a lot more. |
