No, all our templates can be downloaded & saved onto your computer and the use of our templates is not restricted to any pre-determined period. Once you have purchased & downloaded the full versions of our templates, you can basically use them forever!

Customers who process their payments by card or through PayPal are able to download their templates as soon as the payment process has been completed. Customers who pay by electronic transfer are only able to download their templates after their payments have been confirmed and their download access has been activated (needs to be done manually). In order to ensure prompt activation of your download access, you therefore need to send us your proof of payment as soon as you have completed the payment. Manual activations for local customers are completed within 24 hours if proof of payment is received timeously (can be as quickly as 1 business hour if proof of payment is received within business hours). International transfers can take up to 7 days to be confirmed depending on which country you are in and which bank you are using for the transfer.

Please also note that if you processed payment through PayPal and you were not redirected to our site immediately after completing your payment, you will also receive a download activation e-mail which contains a link to the download page. You can therefore use the link in the e-mail to download your templates.

The full versions of the templates contain no protection. This means that you will have full access to all cells and the formulas included in all the cells. You will also be able to make changes to the templates.

We only use the built-in features of Microsoft Excel in the design of our templates. This means that our templates are as compatible with other spreadsheet applications as Microsoft Excel is. If you are using a non-Microsoft spreadsheet application, the compatibility of our templates will depend on how compatible your version of the application is with Microsoft Excel and especially the features that we use in the design of our templates. Open Office is generally compatible with all the features in our templates but Google Sheets is a bit light weight for the complexity which is required in some of our templates (more specifically the use of Excel tables and named ranges). We therefore strongly recommend using our templates with Microsoft Excel.

We do offer a custom development service but it is charged out at an hourly rate and is therefore not always cost effective. We therefore recommend contacting us and listing your requirements before purchasing the standard version of the template if you require a customization and are not able to implement the custom changes yourself (you will have unrestricted access to all the data sheets).

If we released annual updates of the templates, we would not be able to offer the templates at such affordable and once-off prices. All the template prices are once-off and there are no additional annual charges that are levied for the use of the templates.

We do however recognize that some templates like the Financial Statements template are subject to periodic changes in accounting standards but the main aim of this template is to make it easy to compile financial statements in Excel and we therefore make it clear that the responsibility for accurate disclosure remains that of the user. If accounting standards however change in such a way that the disclosure which is included in our standard template becomes materially inaccurate, we will release a new version which will be available to purchase. These updates do not occur frequently and you would not need to purchase a new version every year.

No, the Excel template prices quoted on our website are once-off prices. This means that after you purchase any of our templates, you can basically use them forever without incurring any additional fees. Please note however that our data analytics products are not Microsoft Excel based and are web-based online solutions which are only available on a subscription basis.

We only use macros in order to facilitate providing trial versions of all our unique templates. The trial version macros are 100% safe & secure and can be enabled in order to try out the functionality included in the particular template. None of the full versions of our unique Excel templates contain macros. We've only used the functions and features that are available in the standard Microsoft Excel application in developing the full versions of all our Excel templates. This approach ensures that you do not need to install any other Excel add-ins or components in order to use our templates and that the templates will be compatible with any version of Microsoft Office that is being used (including Office for Mac).

When Excel files are downloaded from the internet, the files are in most instances opened in Protected View which means that you cannot make any changes until you have enabled editing for the particular Excel file. The Excel application usually displays a message bar at the top of the sheet with a button which can be clicked to enable editing.

Microsoft Excel files downloaded from the internet are usually opened as read-only which prevents the file from being saved. You therefore need to use the Save As feature to save a copy of the file on your computer before you will be able to use the default Save function for the downloaded file. This is not unique to our templates and affects all downloaded files.

None of the full versions of our templates contain any protection and you will therefore not encounter this issue if you are working in the full version of a template. You may therefore be attempting to make changes to our sample files which are protected. If you have purchased the template, you are using the wrong version of the template and you need to find and open the full version which you downloaded after purchasing. The full versions are completely separate files from the sample versions. If you have not purchased the full version of the template, you need to purchase the template to obtain a usable version of the template.

All our subscription-based products need to be purchased by card and the subscriptions are automatically activated once your card payment has been processed successfully.

You can add an unlimited number of users to your subscription at no additional cost.

There are different subscription options available for the management accounts product and these options differ based on the number of profiles included. Each business needs to have its own profile so the subscription options essentially differ based on the number of businesses that you require management accounts for. If you purchase a subscription and reach the maximum number of profiles, you will be able to upgrade your subscription to increase the number of profiles available.

We do provide a custom development service for our management accounts product. Simply send us the specifications of your requirements and we'll get back to you with a quotation for developing the custom solution and the monthly or annual subscription fee.

Please therefore complete the full package or template shopping cart checkout process and select the electronic transfer payment option when you get to the Payment Options stage. A page listing our banking details as well as the payment reference that you need to use will then be displayed.

No, once you have purchased a template, you can use it on as many PC's as you would like to. In fact, we also allow a single version of a template to be used by all employees within the same organization but we do protect our copyright and all customers should therefore take note of the following copyright statement:

All our templates remain our intellectual property and are protected by international copyright laws. Any publication or distribution of the templates outside the scope of the permitted use of the templates is expressly prohibited. In terms of the permitted use of the templates, only the distribution of the templates to persons within the same organization as the registered user or persons outside the organization who can reasonably be expected to require access to the templates as a direct result of the use of the templates by the registered user is allowed. Subsequent distribution of the templates by parties outside of the organization is however expressly prohibited and represents an infringement of international copyright laws.

The 3D secure card protocol refers to the Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, American Express Safekey and other similar secure card authorisation programmes. Our secure card payment interface requires customers to use these additional card security measures in order to purchase our products. The 3D protocols provide an additional level of security in the form of a password or one-time-pin (OTP) which is only known to the card holder. If your card has not been registered for 3D security through the card issuing bank, you will not be able to complete your transaction. Customers who are not interested in this additional level of security can still make card payments through PayPal (you do not have to own a PayPal account in order to process your payment through PayPal).

You can reconnect your full template package at a discounted price. The default reconnection option is a once-off reconnection which enables you to download the latest versions of the templates at a discounted price of ZAR500 ($26 £21 €25). It only takes a few minutes to download the Zip file which contains all the templates but we provide a download window of 14 days. You can therefore use the once-off option to download the latest versions of the templates whenever you want to.

We also provide a discounted price for customers who want to stay connected to the templates. This extended full package option includes download access for 365 days at a price of ZAR1,200 ($63 £51 €59). When this 365-day period expires, the full package will not be renewed automatically. You therefore need to extend it again if you want to continue to stay connected to the latest versions of the templates.
